About the role:
We are looking to a strong Software Engineer with expertise in Adobe products, specifically with AEP and Adobe Target. This is an area that our client has a gap so we are looking for Adobe specialist that will bring this expertise to the team. Must be able to knowledge transfer and up-skill others. You will be supporting multiple areas within the team but primarily engaging with Marketing and helping to enhance their usage of the Adobe platform and tools. Secondary skills within Adobe would be AJO (Adobe Journey Optimizer) and AEM but these are not required skills.
Responsibilities:
- Work virtually to interact, collaborate, & coordinate work on a frequent basis with other employees in IT & business stakeholders.
- Design, develop, code, test, and debug new or existing software applications & installed hardware, and perform firmware & system administration responsibilities
- Work with technical staff to understand and analyse hardware/software problems & develop, code, test, and debug software to resolve issues
- Participate in the development of IT systems user manuals and/or documentation to support the ongoing use and application of the IT system
- Demonstrate software & hardware functionality to others to introduce new or enhanced features, as necessary
- Suggest enhancements or offer alternative resolutions for software, hardware, or cloud-based IT systems problems
- Maintain and increase professional and technical knowledge & currency by attending workshops, reviewing professional publications, establishing personal networks and participating in professional societies
Requirements:
- Experience working and delivering features in an agile or scaled agile team environment
- 2+ years of coding experience with Adobe products:
- AEP (Adobe Experience Platform)
- Adobe Target
- AJO (Adobe Journey Optimizer) - NICE TO HAVE
- AEM (Adobe Experience Manager) - NICE TO HAVE
- Understanding & knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures within one or more of the following areas: design & deployment of cloud services, software development, hardware installation, system administration, cyber security or other functional IT area
- Excellent oral & written communication skills to effectively interact with internal and external customers & department staff
- Able to communicate well with others, to perform work in a team environment
- Experience serving as a resource, mentor, and coach for other engineers including less experienced team members
- Experience onboarding & supporting the success of new team members
- Easily adapt to & embrace a fast moving and rapidly changing work environment
- Demonstrate a growth mindset & exhibit a highly collaborative work style
- Bachelor's degree in a technology field & 2 years of prior IT work experience OR Coding / IT Bootcamp
